The private ward of the hospital is currently accommodated in the oldest building, which was constructed in 1927.
Although still stable, it does no longer meet with up-to-date standards.
On the other hand, the living standard of the population has risen and with it the expectation for more modern hospital accommodations.
Therefore we plan to construct a small “private ward” with self-contained units.
At the same time minor renovations are required on the ordinary wards. In some areas partitions can be installed in order to guarantee more privacy. Toilets and showers need to be modernized.
A new private ward will help us with operational income and enable us to cross-subsidize poor patients on the ordinary ward.
Total expenses for this project are estimated to be around 110.000 € (125.000 USD). Every Euro or Dollar will help to reach the projected amount!
