Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This department under the direction of Dr. Amon Stephano (gynaecologist) takes care of all gynecological conditions and all obstetric cases from conception until 6 weeks after delivery. Our team comprises of 2 specialists, 2 Medical Doctors (MD), 3-4 Intern Doctors and 34 nurses. We offer services for inpatients and outpatients in the areas of fetal maternal medicine, labor and delivery, all diseases of the reproductive organs including malignancies and fertility problems.
For outpatients we offer diagnosis and treatment of all gynaecological diseases like menstrual problems, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian masses or cervical carcinoma. Pregnant women come for regular check-up in order to identify risk factors like Hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus or rhesus incompatibility.
Other patients are admitted for procedures like emergency or elective caesarian section, hysterectomy, laparoscopy (minimal invasive surgery), myomectomy etc..
Cervical cancer screening is offered on 5 days per week free of charge.
