Pharmacy
There are nine employees working at our pharmacy, of which some are pharmaceutical personnel, while others are nurses for assisting simple activities but not compounding or dispensing. The pharmacy is located inside the hospital building with sub-units that include general pharmacy, pharmacy for patients with insurance, “CTC’’-Pharmacy and pharmacy of our TB unit.
Due to a well-organized structure our pharmacy manages to deal with 90 to 200 patients per day with a minimal TAT time. Apart from providing medicines for our inpatients and outpatients we are also preparing the allocated medications for the departments.
In addition to dispensing drugs we are also providing technical and clinical advice to our patients as well as to our health care workers.
All important medicines are usually available and the prices are at a level that most patients can afford.
