Freedom Torch 2023
On 8th April 2023, the convoy of the Tanzania Freedom Torch race 2023 commissioned and officially inaugurated our New Emergency, OPD and administration block. The buildings are now open for service delivery and our patients can benefit from the quality emergency services and reduced time spent in the OPD with maximized attention and less congestion. The Freedom Torch race is a national event since Tanzanias independence in 1961. It is annually rotated all over the country in order to inspect complete and ongoing developmental projects, which directly and positively contribute to the well-being of the general public.
The timely and successful completion of the Emergency, OPD and administration building project has given our hospital the privilege for recognition as one of the destinations of the Freedom Torch race 2023.
Our project has been appreciated by the government officials and it has been rated with top marks by the team of the Freedom Torch.
The management and staff of St. Benedict Ndanda Hospital are so grateful to our Benefactors in Europe who have enabled us to realize this milestone in the history of our institute.
