On 21st January 2025, the Female Surgical Ward (Ward 6) was officially handed over following its renovation. The project aimed to provide enhanced privacy for patients, better monitoring by nursing staff, access to oxygen, and improvements in hygiene and overall comfort. The design mirrors the successful renovations of other wards, earning positive feedback from both staff and patients. Privacy is ensured with partitions and curtains, while a centrally located nurse station facilitates efficient patient monitoring through a modern call system.
The ward now includes High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds and one designated isolation room for infectious patients. All beds have access to oxygen. New windows were installed as well as energy-efficient LED lighting. Additional amenities include a tea room for nurses, a doctor’s room, and well-organized utility and storage spaces to optimize ward operations. We extend our sincere thanks to our benefactors, whose support has made this transformation possible, allowing us to provide a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
