Extension of Solar System

During the year 2023, we managed to install a 364 kW solar plant with a 399 kWh battery and integration of the turbine.
Due to the installation of new machines in the hospital like CT scan, oxygen filling station, a new sterilizer and various other high-tech machines, the consumption of electricity has almost doubled compared to few years ago.

Therefore, the grid is already overloaded and the proportion of power, which is produced by renewable sources of energy, has decreased from 80% – 90% in 2023 towards 50 – 60% in 2025.
The problem can be solved through installation of additional solar panels, inverters, a battery and a backup generator – all within the hospital compound.

The extension of the existing solar system comprises the installation of 832 kWh Lithium battery, 141 kW solar panels, a 300 kVA backup generator, integration of the existing solar system with the turbine and integration of the national grid (TANESCO).
of power this system will provide stable, safe and uninterrupted power supply due to the redundance of sources of energy. The grid will no longer be overloaded, because electricity will be produced, stored and consumed within the hospital compound.
Almost 100% of power will be produced by renewable sources and the expenses for electricity will decrease significantly.
