In March 2021, several Senior Experts from Germany have been working at our facility: one specialist for anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, one physician, one endoscopy nurse and one ICU nurse.
They provide intensive training for our staff in the areas of artificial ventilation, endoscopic procedures, echocardiography and ultrasound.
New techniques and procedures are being implemented like dilatative percutaneous tracheotomy, pacemaker implantation, gastrostomy and bone marrow aspiration.
They have also brought various modern equipment including one bronchoscope, pacemakers, special materials for pericardial paracentesis, materials for endoscopic procedures and others.
On 16th of March, 2021, a temporary pacemaker has been implanted successfully to a patient with Sick Sinus Syndrome. It was the first time in the history of our institute that pacemaker therapy has been initiated to one of our patients.
