Vaccination against Covid 19
Since 4/8/2021, the vaccination against Covid 19 is available at our Hospital in Ndanda, specifically the JANSSEN Covid 19 Vaccine (Johnsen & Johnsen). The demand for the vaccination is high, since the country is still afflicted by the third wave of patients with this disease.
The first priority groups to be vaccinated have been medical personnel and their families, patients with chronic diseases and citizens above 50 years of age.
Meanwhile, all clients above 18 years of age can be vaccinated.
The JANSSEN Covid 19 vaccine requires a single dose injection only. Adequate protection against the disease is achieved 14 days after the injection.
Most of our employees have already received the vaccination and we are advertising the service to our patients, relatives and to the community.
The vaccination is provided free of charge.
